We like to think that the whole of the Ruapehu Area is one great sightseeing trip. Mountains. rivers, bush and beautiful scenery everywhere you look. Popular drives include the Forgotten World Highway and Mount Ruapehu.
The Bridge to Nowhere
The Bridge to Nowhere is a great spot where you can cycle, walk, fish or enjoy sightseeing.
There is a range of snow activities including skiing, snowboarding tobogganing, tramping or just playing in the snow or sightseeing at places such as the Whakapapa Ski field at Mt Ruapehu, and the Tongariro National Park.
